Actually I'm surprised cycling is allowed through the shopping centre from 4pm to 10am.

Very faded and dirty sign, confirming that ncn223 continues along this 40mph road

There are lots of links to the Basingstoke Canal towpath.

There's no cycle parking at Woking's World War One Islamic cemetery

There's a poor shared-use footway around the A245/A320 roundabout, with cyclists soon pushed back on to the roads.

There's a poor shared-use footway around the A245/A320 roundabout, continuing north on the far side of the road only.

Mountain biking is probably allowed on Horsell Common, though it's hard to tell. HG Wells certainly cycled around here while planning The War of the Worlds - Horsell Common is where the first Martians landed.

Map of Horsell Common - mountain biking is probbaly allowed, though it's hard to tell.

Shared-use signs seem to have been provided only where developers have installed them.

Unsigned cycle route which needs to be properly linked to the new bridge over the Basingstoke canal.

Woking Cycle Network route 2 - this should perhaps be re-routed via the new bridge over the Basingstoke Canal.

There was no need for this new link to the towpath to be stepped.

Ramp under construction to the new bridge over the Basinsgtoke Canal - but I hope it's not just a link from the dual-carriageway, there needs to be an off-road route.

The cycle parking at the Lightbox Gallery seems to have been moved. It's still a long way from the entry.

Woking station Cycle Hub - there's a wheeling channel only on the left side of these steps, but there's a level entrance in the distance. Unusually, there seems to be no smart card-access parking.
